Peking
University Student Performing Art Troupe at Stanford Memorial
Auditorium on January 29th, 2005.
The first Chinese college
performing art troupe touring the U.S. in the
history, Peking University's Student Art Troupe is leading a new wave
of cultural exchange and diplomacy between top Chinese and U.S.
universities. Between
January 27th and Febuary 7th, the troupe will demonstrate the best of our alma mater's
flourishing artistic talents at Stanford, University of
Maryland, Cornell, Columbia and Yale University. President of Peking
University, XU Zhihong
and Assistant to President, HAI Wen will lead the troupe, meet U.S.
university officials and raise fund for PKUEF. PKUEF and
PKUAANC have the honor to host the tour's first stop in U.S. at
Stanford University.
In
addition to its profound cultural and diplomatic impact, the tour is
also a fund raising event for Peking University Education Foundation
(PKUEF). All ticket sales and donations will go to PKUEF.
