Over the past few years, the annual party organized by CNetwork has become one of the largest and most spectacular events to celebrate Chinese New Year among Bay Area communities. Sponsored and co-organized by many local organizations, groups and companies, we are
confident to make this year's event another unforgettable experience for you, your friends andyour
family. Over 1500 people are expected to come and enjoy the performance by professionals and amateurs alike, show off their singing talents in front of the Karaoke audience, or simply swing their bodies with great music on the dance floor. You will certainly meet old friends who have been "missing" for a long time, and get to know fresh faces with each head turn.So come to the
party and let the fun begin!

2) Chinese Movies
In celebration of the Year of the Dragon, Nan Hai Arts Center will sponsor a Chinese Film Week from February 4-7, 2000. A total of six Chinese movies will be shown at three Bay Area theaters, including two of Zhang Yimou's new productions, "All Should be Present (yi ge dou bu neng shao)" and "My Father and Mother (wo de fuqin he muqin)." The other four movies are "Love of
the Yellow River (huang he jue lian)," "Happy Home (kuaile lao jia)," "Will Love You Tomorrow (mingtian wo ai ni)" "Never Say Goodbye (shuo hao bu fen shou)."

All of them have been nominated for the Golden Rooster and the Hundred Flowers film awards in China. The films will be shown at the following theatres:
