Dear BeiDa (including former BeiYi) alumni, The new millennium came with the birth of the new Peking University! On April 3, 2000, Peking University and Beijing Medical University merged to become the new Peking University. Our alma mater is now striving to become a first-class university in the world in the year 2015. In the Bay area, the technology center of the world, there are many hundreds of our alumni. We study, work and live here, but we always think about our motherland and our alma mater. Peking University Alumni Association of Northern California (PKUAANC) is the organization of, by, and for us, the alumni of Peking University. In the spirit of the treasured legacy of Peking University, Science and Democracy, PKUAANC organizes year-round social, academic and business activities with the purpose of assisting the professional and personal growth of our alumni, enhancing the educational and academic excellence of Peking University, and contributing to the prosperity and strength of China. It is again time for us alumni to get together, to meet old friends and get to know new friends and elect the board for a new term. All of our alumni are invited! We encourage alumni who want to contribute to our organization to run for Board membership. Our organization needs enthusiastic volunteers to serve us alumni.
