[Saturday, 09/15] Annual Meeting and Election

Dear Beida and Beiyi alumni and friends,

It is time for our organization, Peking University Alumni Association of Northern California, to have our annual meeting and election. At the meeting, three distinguished alumni will give us their views on the internet bubble, China's economy, and bio-tech industry.

As we introduced to you a few months ago, in order to make our organization more active, more representative of our alumni population, and to serve our alumni better, we will set up a two-tier structure for the volunteer team, namely a Board of Directors and an Executive Committee. We are very glad to tell our alumni that many alumni enthusiastically volunteered to commit their precious time to work for our organization. At the meeting, we will ask our alumni to confirm the new Board. After the new Board is set up, it will appoint the Executive Committee.

Please come and have a fruitful afternoon!
