PKUAANC's Trip to Mendocino - 09/15/2000

Dear Alumni,

The summer is almost over and the peaceful autumn season is approaching. Do you want to get away from your busy daily routine and spend a delightful weekend with a group of PKU alumni friends in a beautiful and romantic place out of town? PKUAANC is organizing a trip to the picturesque coast town of Mendocino, CA for this purpose.

You'll have a chance to spend two nights in a spectacular beach house with the other alumni friends and a variety of enjoyable activities. These include a beach party at first night, a Portuguese festa and all sorts of outdoor activities at your choice, a house dinner together, and one wonderful evening of singing Karaoke, dancing, and playing games in the house.

Mendocino is about 160 miles north from San Francisco.

Time: Sept. 15 - Sept. 17

Place(to stay): A vacation house right on the beach.

People: We are planning on getting 25-30 people

Transportation: Car pooling will be arranged (planning on leaving Friday afternoon/evening and coming back Sunday afternoon)

Cost: ~ $50/person (two nights' housing)

Events:
9/15 9pm party
(introducing each other and sightseeing on the beach near the house)

9/16 day Portuguese festa in Fort Bragg(annual celebration with fish dinner, sopas, coronation dance)

7pm dinner, karaoke, games

9/17 sightseeing around Mendocino
1) the contact person's name, email and phone #,
2) the number of people in your party,
3) whether your party can provide car(s) and/or driver(s) for car pooling and how many people from other parties you can help,
4) whether you party needs car pooling and for how many people.

Note:
There is a limit of 30 people for this trip, the space will be available at a "first come first serve" basis. Since some alumni will bring friends/family along, those alumni interested in the trip should act quickly to avoid being left out due to space limitation.
