Dear PKU Alumni Friends,
 
Happy New Year!
 
PKUAANC kicks off the Year of the Dog by inviting you to an alumni get-together event on Sunday, Feb 12th, 2006.
 
We are delighted to have a PKU delegation come and spend the afternoon with us. The delegation, which consists of several vice presidents of PKU and almost all directors of different departments, was on its tour in US. Before they are heading home, they will be joining us and share their stories and thoughts with us in this event. If you have been away from our Alma Mater for years, it is a perfect time to catch up.
 
We also have the special honor to have two of the vice presidents of PKU to give us presentations. Not only that they will talk about development and updated information of our university, but also they will talk about Chinese economy, one of the hottest topics these days, from expert’s perspective.  Please keep in mind that, this is going to be a highly interactive event, so that our alumni will have plenty of chance to express his/her own opinions, and discuss topics of your interest with the delegation.
 
Of course, the event is also a great opportunity for you to catch up with old friends and meet up some new ones. Snack will be served and video about Beida will be played. In addition, as a gift to our alumni and friends for the New Year, we have prepared copies of "Original PKU Campus Songs" (“未名湖是个海洋”—北大原创音乐二十年).  We just hope our alumni friends to have a great Sunday afternoon at the beginning of the New Year.

There is a parking lot right outside the library, and at the same time, there is a much larger underground parking lot right beneath the library.  You can drive around the library building to get access to the underground parking lot.
